REGISTRATION FOR ISBR2023 IS NOW CLOSED!

With one week to go to ISBR2023, the high number of registrants has now reached the maximum capacity of the available facilities. To ensure that delegates have the best possible symposium experience and that all attendees can be safely accommodated, we have therefore reluctantly decided to close registrations for the symposium. No further new registrations can be accepted.

We are excited that there is such great interest in the symposium and the outstanding program that has been developed and look forward to joining participants in what we know will be a stimulating and rewarding event.

In extending our sincere apologies to anyone who will now be unable to register for ISBR2023, we invite you to stay tuned for information about the outcomes of ISBR2023, the next ISBR Symposium and other ISBR activities in the interim.

For those who have already registered, there is still a limited number of tickets available for the Symposium Dinner on the evening of Wednesday 3 May. If you wish to purchase tickets, please log back into your online account to do so as soon as possible.

Fees

Please note: Registration fees include ISBR membership valid until ISBR2024.  Membership benefits include access to Symposium presentations (PDFs), an invitation to the Members’ meeting, and ISBR support for the publication of members’ contributions to the Symposium.

Students: (Undergraduate and graduate). To be eligible, proof of current enrolment on university letterhead must be submitted during the registration process.

Developing countries:  Delegates residing in countries classified by the World Bank as low or lower-middle-income economies may be eligible for a reduced registration fee. Click here to view the World Bank list of economies (June 2018)

Accepted authors:  If your submissions have been accepted for an oral or poster presentation you must complete their registration for the symposium by 3 February 2023. After that date, unregistered authors will have their abstracts withdrawn from the published program.

Registration Fees for all delegates include

• Welcome reception (Sunday, April 30, 2023)
• 3 lunches (From Monday 1 to Wednesday, May 3, 2023)
• 7 coffee breaks
• Symposium documents (The full symposium program and the abstracts will be made available to registered participants through the app. A printed program overview will be also provided on-site for ease of reference).
• Access to scientific sessions, Exhibition Area & Poster sessions
• Access to the conference app

The accompanying person registration fee includes

• Welcome reception (Sunday, April 30, 2023)
• 3 lunches (From Monday 1 to Wednesday, May 3, 2023)
• 7 coffee breaks
• Access to the Exhibition Area

REGISTRATION TERMS & CONDITIONS

Centeq Events will not accept telephone reservations. Registration must be completed by filling the Online Registration form (one form per person).

The registration fee that will be charged will reflect the fee rates set for the date the registration is processed and paid in full (see table above). 

If student registration is selected, please provide proof of your student status; otherwise, you will be requested to pay the full registration fee.

Payment in full of the registration fees is required to gain access to the symposium.  A confirmation email and invoice for the total amount paid will be sent straight after the payment is received.  Please review it carefully and take note of your registration number. This number will be requested for any changes or inquiries.

Please note that any bank fees must be paid by the participant. This option will only be available until April 15, 2023.

Any pending payments can be settled at the registration desk. In cases where a bank transfer payment or another method has not been received by the registration desk, you will be asked to provide proof of payment such as an advice bank slip. Otherwise, you will be requested to pay the pending amount.

Centeq Events and ISBR are not responsible for loss, injury, or damage to any person or property. Please ensure you take out adequate travel and appropriate assurance/insurance.

REGISTRATION CANCELLATION POLICY

All cancellations or changes to registrations must be sent to Centeq Events by e-mail: ISBRsymposium@allevents.co.za.

Cancellations received before February 1, 2023 will be fully refunded, less 50 US$ for administrative costs.

Cancellations received between February 1, 2023 and March 1, 2023 will be reimbursed 50% of the registration fee only.

No refund will be made for cancellations received after March 2, 2023 or for any registered participants who fail to attend the conference.

No refunds will be made due to the cancellation of a particular session or talk or to program changes.

* Expenses claims, if applicable, will be processed right after the Symposium.
