Following our recent and reluctant cancellation of the 16th ISBR Symposium scheduled for April 2022 in the face of overwhelming challenges related to COVID-19 (particularly the emergence of the Omicron variant), the ISBR Board is seeking to reschedule the symposium. We are aiming to hold it before the end of 2023, by which time it is hoped that a major in-person symposium will again be a realistic proposition.
The symposium is planned to be held at the original venue – St Louis’ iconic Union Station Hotel - and we are currently negotiating with the hotel to achieve this. The extensive, well-advanced planning and preparation that has already gone into the 16th ISBR Symposium will provide a great foundation for the rescheduled event.
We will be in touch again in the coming months with more details as they come to hand. We will also be reaching out directly to already-registered participants in relation to the fees they have paid, as well as to our sponsors and speakers that had agreed to present in April 2022.
In the meantime, we thank you for your understanding and look forward to confirming arrangements for what we know will be an interesting, diverse and greatly anticipated rescheduled 16th ISBR Symposium.
